Looking for a low-light lens

I love to shoot pictures in clubs and bars but don't want freak people out with a big flash of light, plus it just doesn't look right.

I have a Nikon D80 and was thinking about something that would be "normal". I'll post more when I figure out what exactly I'm looking for.
